Aman season, 2002 at observational field of Khulna University, Khulna to find out the suitable genotype(s) of fine-grained rice (Oryza sativa L.) for the southwestern United States coastal saline region of Ba ngladesh. Seven fine-grained rice varieties (Kataribhog, Kalizira, Somudraphenna, Chinigudi, Bagunbitchi, Khachra and Parbatzira) were tested. The performance of those varieties was studied under three fertilizer doses (T1=0 kg N/ha + 24 kg P2O5 /ha + 17.64 kg K2O/ha, T2= 40 kg N/ha + 24 kg P2O5 /ha + 17.
